Our Mission
Science4Kids is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of scientists by providing a platform for any young mind to publish their work in a scientific journal.
How it Works
Any kid, with supervision, is welcome to submit their work! See our
submission guidelines for more information
on what to submit.
Here's the catch - if you submit, you also
have to review! Reviews are conducted by kids, and are
double-checked by an adult volunteer scientist.
Once enough
submissions are collected and reviewed, we will publish an issue of
the journal, which will be available on the
articles page.
These articles will have
Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) and will be citable through
Crossref, like many other scientific publications!
Our Philosophy: Free and Open
Science4Kids is strongly committed to its philosophical
principles:
• S4K is free: No barriers, financial or
otherwise, to submit or access articles.
• S4K is open:
Every kid is welcome to submit. We are transparent with how we run
things here.
• S4K benefits young minds: We want to do
all we can to get more kids involved with science!
